The power consumption of an extension cord depends on the devices connected to it and the length and gauge of the cord itself. Generally, a shorter and thicker gauge extension cord will consume less power because it has lower resistance and can deliver electricity more efficiently. It's important to choose the right extension cord for the specific devices and power requirements to minimize power consumption and ensure safety. **

Extension cords are flexible electrical cables with a plug on one end and one or more sockets on the other end, used to extend the reach of a power source. Power strips are devices with multiple electrical outlets, often equipped with a circuit breaker or surge protector to protect connected devices from power surges. Both extension cords and power strips are commonly used to provide additional power outlets in areas where they are not readily available, such as in offices, homes, or outdoor spaces. **

You can find a heat-resistant power extension cable by searching for products specifically designed for high-temperature environments or industrial applications. Look for cables with a high temperature rating, such as those made with materials like Teflon or silicone. Additionally, consider cables with a heavy-duty construction and insulation to ensure they can withstand heat and provide reliable power extension in hot conditions. Be sure to check the product specifications and customer reviews to ensure the cable meets your specific heat-resistant requirements. **

There can be a slight power loss with extension cords or power strips due to the increased length of the electrical path, which can lead to a drop in voltage. However, this power loss is usually minimal and should not significantly impact the performance of most devices. It is important to use high-quality extension cords and power strips to minimize any potential power loss and ensure the safe operation of your electrical devices. **
